Recently, I had the pleasure of presenting more than $14 million dollars in Community Focus Funds to 33 Hoosier communities, including $500,000 to Lacrosse. The grant will help with the library project.
Since 2005, Governor Daniels and I have been working to create the conditions that will foster economic success all over the state, regardless of the size of the community. We always want new businesses and expansions happening in areas that need it the most. That, most often, is in and around our smaller cities and towns.
The Office of Community and Rural Affairs is a partner in our state's overall economic development efforts. The office helps those smaller communities define and prepare for their economic futures. |
